Who we are ...

A Michigan based, Marine Transporter. As boat transportation specialists, we haul boats for private individuals, boat manufactures and boat dealers welcoming all customers inquiries and offering “no hassle” transportation quotes. We are professional, experienced and dependable boat transporters. Each boat we handle is treated with the same care and concern as if was our own.

Our Equipment and services...

We take pride in the quality of our equipment. We provide Hydraulic trailer service, Low Boy service (US and Canada), along with Pontoon transport (local areas). We have equipment to handle boats up to 70’ motor yachts. Need a hauler for your Boat shows? No Problem, we currently provide transport to Chicago, Navy Pier, Detroit and Cleveland. Is your boat too big to ship by truck? No Problem, Chad and his crew are all 100 Ton United States Coast Guard Captains. Our USCG captains on staff are also our drivers. These drivers are able to secure your vessel in its slip; check for leaks, plug in and fend off properly. Need to learn to drive your boat? No problem, we will train you to operate your vessel; from Jet Skies to Motor Yachts.

Fully Insured! ...

Having the proper insurance is important; we carry $1,000,000 in Cargo for the protection of the customer as well as us the transporter. (It is always recommended for a customer to maintain proper insurance coverage of the vessel at all times.) Nautic Marine, LLC is fully licensed by the US Department of Transportation. We are fully insured with a Cargo and Liability insurance policy, declarations are given for proof of coverage to all customers. We also have US DOT #980547 & ICCMC #416314 authority and stay completely compliant to all rules and regulations. We have an excellent track record.

Integrety First! ...

Nautic Marine Transport is in the business to move boats. We are not the cheapest transporters in the industry, though we are honest and quote our jobs fairly. We like to put the cards “face up” for our customers on price, if there is a way for us to save you money, we will do it. We want to give you the best possible price for transporting your boat.

Free advice ...

We want to save you money, but we are not one of those company’s that “low ball” quotes to get jobs. Be wary of these transporters! Find out if the “low ball” quote includes permit fees, loading fees and/or any other hidden costs. These transporters also may not carry proper liability and cargo insurance. That means your boat may not be covered in the event that the boat is damaged in transit. Also, check for US DOT & ICCMC authority, get their numbers and go to www.safersys.org check their Federal Motor Credentials. Click here to view our Federal Motor Carrier Credentials. Keep in mind the old saying of “you get what you pay for!”

We have prepared a Preparation Guide to give customers information on how to properly prep their boat for shipping.
